Summer Skills Academy
The SW Lakers Boys' Basketball Program is excited to offer a Summer Skills Academy designed to provide development and growth for rising 7th-9th graders on track to Southwest and our current high schools athletes. Players will have opportunities to work on advanced fundamentals including, decision-making, ball-handling, finishing, shooting and in- game strategies. We invite you to join us for these sessions throughout the months of June and July.
GROUP 1: Rising grades 7-9, Session Days/Time: Monday & Wednesday 5:00pm - 6:15pm
June 15 – July 29, 2026
Southwest High School (Enter through Door 7 at 46th & Chowen) Minneapolis, MN 55410
Cost/Fees: $50 (All fees will be used to compensate coaches and trainers for their time & instruction)
GROUP 2: Rising grades 10-12, Session Days/Time: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 6:00pm - 7:30pm
June 1 - July 30, 2026
Note: Sessions will start at 5:30pm during the Weeks of June 1 & June 8, June 1 - July 30, 2026
